If God created me, does me believing in me also mean that I automatically believe in God?

 No.

It’s true that everything is manifest from God, but observing that things exist doesn’t reveal that truth. Animals observe that things exist, but they can’t extrapolate from that that God exists.

Humans cannot automatically believe God exists based on believing in themselves. When God’s role in our existence and the universe is learnt, understood, and accepted, then everything is automatically evidence of God, but without that prior knowledge, no belief automatically leads to belief in God.

People can have beliefs in a higher power, a greater force, a supernatural being, a spiritual energy, a First Cause, an unmoved mover, so many variations are there. But the term God is quite specific. God has attributes, personality, characteristics and qualities. The details need to be learnt because they are not self-evident in our world.

In Bhagavad Gita Sri Krishna advises:

Bg. 4.34–35 - Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth. Having obtained real knowledge from a self-realized soul, you will never fall again into such illusion, for by this knowledge you will see that all living beings are but part of the Supreme, or, in other words, that they are Mine.
