How do I know that God has forgiven me and stop feeling guilty?

Feeling guilty is not bad if it keeps us humble. Humility is appreciated by God. Whether God has forgiven us or not doesn’t change the fact that we are His eternal servants. As long as we still feel some connection with the Lord, and can still offer Him some loving service, all is not lost.

The Lord will accept the simplest things if they are offered with love and devotion. That means they are specifically to please Him without expecting anything in return.

In Bhagavad Gita Sri Krishna promises:

If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it. Bg 9.26
