How did life (existence, God, simulations, dimensions, life, the universe) start?

According to the Vaishnava account based on Vedic testimony, existence, God and life are fundamental aspects of reality and have always existed. It doesn’t make sense for anything to come from nothing, so something is eternal.

If existence is not real, then nothing is.

God and His spiritual sparks of energy, who are living beings have always existed. It’s not that the category of living beings has always existed, but each individual living being has always existed but is trapped in a material body for the duration of that body. Then on the demise of that body, the spirit soul moves to another body.

Because this has been going on forever and includes different dimensions and some simulations, they have also existed eternally.

Universes come and go. The primordial substance or energy of material universes exists eternally but sometimes it is manifest as a universe and at other times not. So while individual universes have a start date and a shelf life, the sum total of the energy from which universes are created has always existed.

Our identity as parts of Krishna and our transmigration from one body to another are described by Sri Krishna in Bhagavad Gita.

The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind. Bg 15.7

As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones. Bg 2.22
